Theo Moustakas was born in Melbourne, on july 20, 1975.* Although he resided and grew up in Greece, Edessa city played a large role in his formative years. *For many years, Mr. Theo had followed a number of photography courses, involved in commercial black and white darkrooms and was an active member of a few photography clubs/associations.* *At the age of 24, when he return to Melbourne, he made the decision to formalize his education and enrolled in to PSC (Photography Studies College) to complete the Advance Diploma in Commercial Photography.* *Then after the completion of that, another one challenge came along! The Bachelor of Arts (in Photography) at RMIT university (Melbourne) that he completed with high distinctions and awards.* *Theo had always been interested in photography. He purchase his first Polaroid camera at the age of seven. It was a tiny camera but actually till today works! Through his teens years, Mr. Theo kept his SX70 in close hand, from documenting activities with friends and family till experimenting in Polaroid lift offs and Polaroid transfers. But it was when at the age of 15 he discovered medium and large format technology and the magic of the classic black and white darkroom. * *Then his interest in photography became a passion. * *The desire to see the extraordinary in the simple, ordinary places, people and objects in his life shaped his creative vision.* *Mr. Theo continued to evolve his photographic vision, exhibited regularly, had photos purchased by corporate and private collectors and began seeing his work published.* *Theo's work is highly regarded by his photographic peers and collectors of fine art photography, and is represented in numerous private and corporate collections around the world.
